Our Oak House is a restored former family residence set within a historicViennese villa dating back to the early 1900s. Thoughtfully renovated in 2022, the property was completely reimagined into an intimate boutique guesthouse-meets-Bed & Breakfast in Vienna, blending heritage architecture with modern comfort and contemporary style.

In an architectural twist, the spacious communal areas are located on the top floor—offering a light-filled setting for relaxation—while the six individually designed guest rooms are situated across the first two floors, ensuring privacy, and a home-like experience.

The name for our Guesthouse stems from the street on which we are located on, which is “Eichenstraße” and translates into “Oak Street.” The street was named after the Oak Trees that historically used to line the street and while unfortunately Oak Trees can no longer be found here anymore, they have still provided ample inspiration to our house and its concept.

 

The house is adorned with artwork that has been handed down by family, collected from various flea markets, as well as work done by some young artists, each capturing a certain essence of Vienna in their own way.
